Don’t panic yet! All your work should not be lost forever.

• There might be a loose cord connecting the screen, or a simple power problem.
• Even if the computer seems totally dead, your information may still be safe and sound on the internal storage drive.
• Removing a few screws and connectors may be all it takes to transfer your work from a broken computer to another machine for recovery.

Most of these problems can be fixed easily.
